Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to MangaDownload.io Pro, available as a monthly subscription currently priced at $6 USD per month or an annual subscription / 1-year pass at $36 USD per year (50% discount). Pro provides account-level benefits, including an ad-free experience, unlimited daily download quota, lower rate limits, batch downloads of up to 100 chapters, and priority support.

Payments are processed via Ko-fi. Ko-fi's applicable Buyer Terms and refund processes also apply to your purchase.

  1. Service Availability

    MangaDownload.io is an AI-assisted tool that attempts to parse, retrieve, and package content made available through third-party websites.

    The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that any particular website, series, chapter, parser, or download will work successfully, remain available, or be compatible with MangaDownload.io.

    In particular, we do not guarantee:

    • Successful parsing or scraping of any source, series, or chapter.
    • Successful, complete, or error-free downloads.
    • Continued compatibility with any third-party website.
    • Availability of particular content, sources, or features at all times.
    • That AI-assisted processing will produce a particular result.

    Third-party websites may change, restrict access, become unavailable, or otherwise prevent MangaDownload.io from working as expected. A failed parse, failed download, incomplete download, unavailable source, or change to a third-party website does not by itself make a subscription refundable.

  2. Refund Eligibility

    You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial Pro subscription purchase only where no Pro benefit has been used.

    For this policy, Pro is considered used if, after subscribing, you:

    • Start a download while Pro is active.
    • Use download capacity beyond the free-tier quota.
    • Receive lower rate limits or other Pro-only processing priority.
    • Start a batch download using the Pro chapter limit.
    • Submit or receive priority support related to your Pro subscription.

    Once any Pro benefit has been used, the subscription is considered consumed and is generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or Ko-fi's applicable policies. Ko-fi provides subscription management at Ko-fi subscription management for refund requests, subscription cancellation, receipts, and transaction support (see Ko-fi Support).

  3. Exceptions

    We may consider a refund, subject to verification, where:

    • You were charged more than once for the same subscription.
    • A billing error occurred.
    • You made an accidental purchase, report it within 24 hours, and have not used any Pro benefit.
    • You cannot access Pro at all because of a material issue caused by MangaDownload.io, and you first give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.

    A refund request does not automatically mean a refund will be issued. Refund eligibility is assessed using account records, subscription status, payment information, and relevant usage logs.

  4. Cancellations

    You may cancel Pro at any time. Cancellation stops future recurring charges but does not automatically refund a payment already made or the unused portion of the current billing period.

    Unless stated otherwise during cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of the current paid billing period. You can manage or cancel a Ko-fi subscription through Ko-fi subscription management or the subscription-management link in your Ko-fi purchase email (see Ko-fi subscription details).

  5. Refund Abuse

    To prevent abuse, we may reject refund requests where we reasonably believe that a customer has:

    • Used Pro benefits before requesting a refund.
    • Submitted repeated or excessive refund requests.
    • Created multiple accounts to obtain repeated trials, refunds, or promotional access.
    • Made a payment dispute or chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue through support.
    • Used the service in breach of our Terms of Service or applicable law.

    We may suspend or restrict access while a payment dispute, chargeback, fraud review, or refund-abuse investigation is pending. Ko-fi's updated terms also address how suspected fraud or abuse can affect access during and after an investigation (see Ko-fi Terms).

  6. How to Request a Refund

    Before requesting a refund for a technical issue, contact MangaDownload.io support and provide enough information for us to investigate, such as your account email, the relevant source URL, the error message, and the approximate time of the issue.

    For Ko-fi subscription or refund requests, visit Ko-fi subscription management and locate your purchase using the email address used at checkout. Ko-fi's support tools support refund requests, subscription cancellations, receipt requests, and purchase lookup (see Ko-fi Support Guide).

  7. Consumer Rights

    Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights that apply under the laws of your country of residence. Where applicable law gives you rights that conflict with this policy, those legal rights take precedence. Ko-fi's terms and refund policy may also apply depending on your location and purchase (see Ko-fi Refund Policy).
